We cover sources and costs of capital, risk and return dynamics, capital structures, weighted average cost of capital, the theory (CAPM) and the actual expectations of shareholder returns, development of pro-forma financial statements and cashflows, net present value calculations, and the dynamics of growth and capital needs. We make extensive use of Excel to develop practical models to help us convert the theory of corporate finance into practise.
